Cathy Riggs DiMauro

P1040129 edited-01Cathy Riggs DiMauro was born and raised in Morehead City, N.C.  A love for salt water fishing was developed at an early age. So it was no surprise when she decided to pursue a career in the boating industry.  In 1993, she was hired by Jarrett Bay Boat works to manage the interior and exterior wood finishing department. After a short time another job was added to her responsibilities which included boat detail. Within several years, it was apparent that the sport fishing boats Jarrett Bay were building, were transforming into more of a custom sport fishing yacht, rather than a charter boat. With the increasing demand for high end interiors, and with Jarrett Bays encouragement, Cathy went back to school for interior design. In 1999, when Jarrett Bay made the move from Marshallberg to today’s location on the ICW north of Beaufort, NC, Cathy was allocated a building for a design showroom and upholstery work room. Four years later in 2003, again with Jarrett Bay’s approval, Cathy purchased the company, showroom and workroom contents to make Crystal Coast Interiors a reality. Cathy’s 18 years of marine related experience, her ability to design and fabricate an interior, and her love for working with the boating clientele, make her a great consideration for any interior project.

Beth Marie Reid

Beth Marie Reid a Morehead City girl who grew up fishing and running around on the docks of Seawater Marina has always loved boating and art so finding a career that allowed her to mix them both was exactly what she was looking for.  After spending sometime in Wilmington NC working on her Bachelor of Fine Arts she decided to change things up and start working on her degree in Interior Design at CFCC.   After her 1st year she came back to Morehead City and started her summer internship with Crystal Coast Interiors.  She soon realized this was exactly what she wanted and not excited about giving up her opportunity she sat down with Cathy to discuss her options.  The decision was made to transfer schools and finish up her degree at CCC with their Interior Design program and work part time with Crystal Coast Interiors.  After graduating from CCC in 2009 with a degree in Interior Design she has become a full time designer and project manager for Crystal Coast Interiors.  As time has proven, there is no doubt that this is what this young lady was meant to do.
